If there is any secession up here, then sub base Bangor (west coast) will not end up in the same jurisdiction as the BUFF fields and silos (east side inland, Spokane through Montana and the Dakotas). Any new borders will be between them. So may interfere with any goals for reaching #2.

If you read my other posts to this and the other thread, you may notice that I'm actively questioning whether or not this recent Texas cold snap represents any sort of extreme weather increase at all. There seems to be a major collective amnesia about cold weather history.

    That's OK!
#3 is good 'nuff. Heck....even #10 would be.
Just being in 'the club' will keep somebody else from making you take down Old Doug.

Just "resupplied" all the caches of water, food, etc.

Also changed the oil on my two Honda inverter generators -- why does Honda make it such a PIA to change the oil on these things.....

So, ready for next winter storm, which at the moment is set to hit the Pacific Northwest on Sunday??

i'm taking all of our surplus food to the food pantry tomorrow. we will keep a cache large enough to last a few months, but more manageable in rotation of expiration dates
