Was having water leaks in cab of car, read where to look to find where it might come from, read that around sunroof can be an area, with sunroof open, there was standing water around trough area. found tiny rubber hose on each side of opening. blew with air hose in tube, it cleared out blockage, so no more standing water, and floor is dry now, easy fix. I consider cleaning the sunroof drains to be "routine maintenance".

You might want to remove trim as needed so you can lift up some of the carpeting that got wet. I often see water underneath, which will not dry because the carpet has plastic backing. That will lead to mildew (& corrosion on any wet electrical connections)

For minor cases I prop up the carpet and set a small fan in the car to circulate air. For lots of water I have to remove seats, (maybe the center console & fully remove the carpet to dry it out).
