I was an English major in an earlier life. I do not TRY to use unusual phrases, but when one fits, my fingers just type it.
Iv been using a 12 jack that works right off my powerplug, I gave up on Prius jacks in 2005. How can a company make such a great car, but a mechanical catastrophe in car jacks?
Once that is solved, I want to know how Subaru made one even worse. Swapping seasonal tire sets a week ago (seriously delayed by not being home for some time), my cheap Harbor Freight jack finally reached complete hydraulic failure. So I used both the Prius and Forester jacks simultaneously. One jack at each end of the car (one side at a time), which significantly reduces the weight carried by either jack. The Forester jack was nearing failure. Glad I'd recently acquired enough heavy wood blocks to fully back up multiple jacks. The car was fully resting on solid wood during the work.
