WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors for Prius C is coming!

    Hi All,

    Just wanted to let you know some good news - I called WeatherTech today to see if they were developing the side window deflectors for the Prius C and the person I talked to said they're in development right now - should be ready in 3-4 months, give or take. :0

    I was going to buy the cheaper set on ebay, but I'm going to hold out - I like the in channel look more. :)

    Darn, I emailed them about it a while ago, but decided to just get the ebay ones since I didn't know if or when it would happen. Looking forward to the follow up and pics.

    There was an old thread where a user claimed that weathertech acknowledged the designing of in-channel deflectors. Too lazy to look it up.. :sleep:

    All I know is I saw this thread a few days ago and then emailed weathertech to see when the deflectors would be available and that is the reply I got from them. It's been 3 months since the original post.

    I've been waiting for these since I got the car last year. I called them and the person that answered said they didn't have them. It may in the works along with other cars too. I requested them on their site just so they know to keep developing and not to place them on the back burner. Besides if you request them they'll email you when they are available. Can't hurt.

    i requested them over a year ago.. and even talked to a bunch of people when they were at SEMA...

    yea.... over a year later... and still nothin'..

    we should just ask Garm and see if he can get the factory ones from Japan imported over. heheh.

    The person I had spoke to on the phone said they were in development - but who knows if they were making it up or not :p I think having folks keep requesting them will show a need!

    I think they have decided against making them, it should not take this long to R&D! Too bad, they have made a bad business move.

    I emailed them about 5 months ago with the same question/request, and they gave me the same "run-around" response, "We are currently in development, wait 5-6 months, ect.. ect..".

    5-6 months later, and still no advancements have been made. I've pretty much given up on the idea of in-channel weather guards for the C :(
