    Wow, just saw this. Congrats, TP! Although I'm here infrequently, I look forward to your timely, informative, entertaining posts. I think you have more auto industry knowledge than most others on any auto boards I frequent, and always seem to be the first with the latest. Good move all around.

    congrats Jonathan, one of the key characteristics for a good moderator is having the time and energy to help monitor a 24-7 operation. at 10,000 posts, you definitely have that covered!!

    but your knowledge is what will be appreciated the most. its a tough job but i know you will be up to the challenge.

    That's mostly in the day though when I have lunch or am bored haha. I do notice that my posts/day isn't that particularly high so it's not like I spend that much time per day.. it's just that I'm here everyday.

    Tideland Prius! Congrats!! Oh - and I do speak Canadian, eh! I can even spell like a Canadian - like "you're my favourite MOD, hey!" Sheesh - if I'd have known 10K posts gets ya a MODship I'd have been posting every day! But then again, one site to MOD is enough for me ...

    Well, as SAGE gets closer and closer to the 30K mile mark, I'll be looking over the posts here more carefully looking to see how this dealer is going to try and take advantage of me now... Seems they want nearly $600 for that service and I for the life of me can't justify that cost for what they say they are going to do ... More on that in another thread though.

    lol. Thanks. and no 10K posts does not guarantee MODship. There are other members that have more posts than some mods and only efusco and I have >10K in posts.


    $600?? wow.. that is quite a bit. My 64,000 km service cost a hair over $200 (after taxes and labour etc)

    Oh yeah, real life snuck in for awhile. <_<

    The benefit package for working at PriusChat must be outstanding if the the low man on the totem pole has already been given a two week vacation to California. :lol:

    Now that we have a west coast representative on the PriusChat Governing Committee . . . maybe you can look into why PriusChat tends to freeze up every day at 1AM Pacific Time. It's like the east coast centric people don't care . . . probably because they are all sleeping at that time. ;) (OK, except maybe for Efusco when doing an ER night shift) :lol:

    Hmm I don't know actually. I tend to sleep before 1am so I've actually never seen the freeze. Maybe we need a UK correspondent to moderate during the overnight periods on this side of the pond.

    However, that might change in the near future when my (possible) FT job run the graveyard shift.

    i suspect the 'standard' has changed. plus, i'm computer and prius illiterate, that wouldn't set much of an example. and, i have a low tolerance threshold, so, there would be a lot of banning, including me.
