I would recommend to change the Forum-Spy post links open method to new window/tab - similar as it was in old PC, it will be, MHO, more user friendly
The post, when edited, loose the hyperlink properties - only plain text is in place, no url tags around.

Is it customizable? I would like to add "Watched Threads" under the "General Links" menu.

Humm, it eats the tags but doesn't put the wire frames in.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but searching for "notifications" isn't particularly useful...I'm getting individual emails of all new threads in forums I used to watch and just get one daily digest (unless I had recently posted). I'd REALLY like to go back to the one-a-day...I'm feeling like a n00b again...o_O

Nice work, Danny!!! (Seriously--not for making me feel like a n00b, but for the redesign!)

I think you have to watch when you reply as it defaults to adding thread to your watch list and email notification list, hence all the emails.

You can edit the list by going to the top right next to your avatar/name, clicking the down arrow and clicking on "Watched Threads". A list of all the watched threads shows up. There's a little box you can check and then at bottom of the page another box that says "With Selected" and you can disable the email notification or delete them from being watched entirely.

i like how the date of the op is now included. i'm having a hard time getting used to the short message yo get when you put your curser on the op. i always scroll down til i find a post that looks interesting. but now the message bubble is off the top of the screen instead of to the right.

These notifications of new threads started coming before I had logged in to the new site at all. It seems kind of counter-intuitive if I have to go in and change everything to make my notifications the same as they were before the site revamp. Do I REALLY have to go through all of the stuff I had watched before WITHOUT individual notifications...?

Likely the default settings are put in for everybody when it converts from one software to another.

Just go to your "Alert Preferences" in the configuration menu that drops down from the arrow next to your avatar/name the top.

Check the "Watched Threads" also per the instructions above. You might want to clean them up while you are settling into the "seat" in your 20112 PriusChat.com

Okey dokey, gottit thanks. Now, is there a way to get a daily digest of new forum topics, and not notifications every time there's a new thread?

Don't know about a "Digest" but clicking the What's New button gives all new topics with new posts and then the blue button next to each will take to the newest unread for you.

Thanks! However, that would require active participation, which the daily digest did not--yet it allowed me to see new threads and new replies to older threads without actively checking in...Oh well. It's not like I've been that active in recent years...

Well go to the PriusChat forum and click "What's New". That pretty low on the measurable activity meter.

I would say probably the worst looking forum I seen in awhile. I'm sure there are new things that are tech friendly however you have lost sight on what makes a forum work well as in ease of use and a pleasing look. Take a look at Evom and other auto forums this a proven concept that works.

How do we become more senior than a 'new member'? I see one guy with over 600 posts and his porfile pic says 'new member'. I'm not a new member with over 400 posts and a member since '07??
