Are we going to get a "--- Unread posts since your last visit" link on the mainpage or will be continue to have to goto the forums page to see the link?

i think it's related to "googleapis.com"- i use the ff no-script extension and hadn't unblocked that one, but i unblocked it while trying to put together my new big photo post to make post editing capacities work right. well, then i went to use the quick reply and saw that white screen everyone's talking about. i blocked scripts from googleapis.com again, and now quick reply works again...

    hope this helps danny!

Ok, tried adding the sites on the error list to the exception list to block them. We'll see how it works

Well, that worked fine. Thanks N! You can automate this process by going to Mozilla dot org and getting the No Script tool. It will automatically block scripts it thinks are unsafe or buggy

A word of caution about the NoScript addon, it absolutely works but I cannot do photos with it on, nor does it recognize punctuation and carriage returns. You have to click the Temporarily Allow All Of This Page in the Options to get these features to work correctly. Just for quick replies though, it works fine

OK, Quick Reply should be working again now. I'll try to tackle some of the other questions/concerns very soon.

Like the "View New Posts" question.

Thanks Danny, all the work you put into the site is appreciated by all. I know all too well how difficult it can be after making changes to a site. At least you have a great staff of moderators here who manage the forums quite efficiently.

I'm having the same issue. Appears to be happening after ~10 minutes and it just signs me out...even though I check the box to "remeber me". Oh...I'm not even closing the page...just leaving it idle.

Thanks, Paradox. I'd be lost without Evan, Tony, and Jon.

Unlimited_MPG, have you tried clearing your cookies/cache and coming back onto the site? I think others have had problems with corrupted cookies for some reason.

Seems ok now. I've had the habit for a long time of clearing the cache and cookies whenever I close the browser

Hi Danny - yes just tried what you suggested..logged off...deleted cookies and history. Open new IE browser...signed in to Prius Chat and after ~10 minutes it's signed me out / not logged in anymore. Running IE7 on Windows XP Media Center Edition.

    Danny,

I'm seeing a really weird condition after the site upgrade.

The weirdness happens when I go to my bookmarked address for Sigma Automotive:

Sigma Automotive – Toyota Hybrid Prius 2004 - 2009 OEM & JDM auto accessories

and then scroll down to the Suspension section, and open the the text
window for either the Tom's Front Upper Stabilizer or Front suspension
Brace. In part, the text reads, "Click here to see installed photos."
When I click, I get dumped to the PriusChat home page! :(

This happens even if I'm not logged in to PriusChat!

I'm using an Apple laptop with the standard Safari browser and have
had no other issues after the site upgrade. :)

Soo, what I want to know is, what have you done to my computer/browser?

It's working now for me as well. Not sure if anything changed...but it's keeping me signed in now.

    Thanks!
