I decided to purchase a 2013 Persona yesterday from Atlanta with 103k. Really clean engine and car. Drove it back home yesterday to the cold Chicago suburbs.

So far I'm really enjoying the car. After my last Prius died, I was hesitant to purchase another. The moment I started the 12hr drive home, I knew it was the right decision. I forgot how (mostly) amazing these cars are to drive. I'll be honest though....I was definitely gripping the wheel the entire time praying the head gasket wouldn't blow.

    Some things I'm loving....
    - The 17" tires handle really well, though I definitely notice an increase in road noise and a little more drag. Road bumps aren't bad either. We'll see if I have any issues with road clearance.
    - SofTex seats are great
    - Man that gas mileage...

Some things I'm missing from the 06...
    - I find the 2013 to have some bad blind spots compared to the 06.
Fog lights & auto adjusting rear view mirror. ...ah well.
    - I actually miss the maintenance calendar, I used that to keep track of oil changes and rotations more easily.

Standby for lots of questions about EGR, PCV, Intake Manifold, and Oil Catch cans...(y)
I may have the shop remove the components and I'll clean myself to be confident it's done properly; since it's so cold out..not sure I want to do it with no garage / heat.

Just wait for it to warm up, then DIY, it's not that hard. Watch the @NutzAboutBolts several times.

Made it this far, a month or two won't hurt.

The rims don't seem to have the slightly darker Persona tint, look more like (US) Prius 5 rims. Probably just the light and/or color balance though? I was just putting our Touring rims back on, took the snows off, yesterday. My back is feeling it today, lol.

I think it's just the lighting. They look like the standard Persona rims to me.
I'm surprised you're already taking those off up there!
