Prime takes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd vs. Volt and Tesla.

1st in April sales, 2nd in Feb. sales, 3rd in ytd sales.

I knew they had to be selling like crazy! I also have believe it or not seen the Mirai here in So Cal a lot! The Toyota Dealer here sells them. In my area there are 4 refill stations within 10 miles of where I live and 20 of them within 25 miles.

I am just sold on Toyota's ability to make good cars at a great price. Honda's are great cars as well and offer more interior luxury. Not sure why they haven't taken off.

Not sure why you think Honda's don't sell. The Civic is the number one selling car in Cali.

Let's agree on a calendar day. Then I'll drive SW and you drive NE - when we spot each other on the road, we can wave and report our first wild sighting.

I spotted my first BMW i8, plugged in in the parking lot. I work at a university! Aren't they like 100 grand or something?!

Yes, we sold 12 more cars.(y) The Prime might actually sell 30k this year.

If you are talking hybrids, Honda tried selling the smaller Civic at the same price point as the Prius. Then the battery issues and how they handled it trashed their hybrid rep.

$144,000. For that price you could buy five Prime Premiums. But then how would you keep them all charged? Thus proving that the i8 is the more practical choice :D

Until you realise that it takes two people to remove the hood (BMW: Why vood zee owner vant to look under zee bonnet?) or that your emergency door release (should the 12V battery fail) is a tiny plastic pop-up piece that most owners actually broke because they thought you had to pull on it).
