Had I not gone gung ho on the cosmetics, which I had decided on before I took delivery, the first three items would be to solve real problems:

    1. tires - handling
    2. MFD hood - glare
    3. rear bumper guard - damage while loading bicycle

A Quick Top 3 Accessories -- based on comfort.

Leather Steeringwheel cover (two tone perferorated from PriusChat where the blue closely matched the exterior) -- it feels a lot nicer than textured plastic wheel and a suprisingly simple upgrade.

Sunshade -- yeah it seems silly, but it's so much nicer on a hot sunny day.

iPod adapter -- this one was a tougher install, but it is worth it when you have nothing to listen to on the afternoon drive...

If you bought yours in Canada, mudguards should already be on your vehicle.

    My suggestions are:

    - new tyres (or at least a set of winter tyres)
    - EV mod
    - Scangauge (if you're geeky and want to know the innards of the car in detail)

    My three to recomend:

    1. Window tint (OP lives up North so likely not an issue)
1.1 Instead of Window tint: EV switch (OP likely has one out of U.S.)
1.11 Instead of Tint or EV switch: BT Stiffening Plate.

    2. Sharkfin antenna.

    3. Engine block heater (OP lives up North so likely has one!)
3.1 Darell's LED lighting to see during the dark winter months!

These are my top three so far.

    1) Sunroof
    2) Lumbar Support in front seats
    3) Heat in front seats

Next round of changes will be:

    4) iPod adapter
    5) Subwoofer
    6) Tweater replacement

Things I would like Toyota to change on their next version (at least 1 & 2).

    1) On MFD display I want 100ths of MPG added. So instead of seeing 51.4 I want 51.43. I want more info to know down to the 100ths of I'm improving or going downward. 10ths isn't enough. (I do NOT run VirusWare which means no MS software which includes Windows. So CANView, unless it runs on a Mac or Linux or ... is not an option.)
    2) I live in Seattle so ... smart intermittent wipers that automatically come out and turn off when it starts sprinking/raining/whatever and when it stops. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has this and I LOVE that.
    3) iPod connection where you have a screen that exactly duplates what you see when controlling your iPod by itself (or iTunes built into the MFD). It should also NOT be disabled while you are moving. My wife is in the car too most of the time and she could choose a different play list or whatever.
    4) My wife wants a convertable Prius. One that looks good and something a lot better than what Chrysler did the with PT cruiser. That convertable is UGLY.
    5) Electric seats with memory for at least two drivers (including memory for lumbar support if that is added. My wife puts it on full and it is a pain on our Jeep to keep deflating that pain in the ...

The redhead is a more sophisticated option; harder to operate, but well worth the trouble once you get the hang of it. Redheads should be installed singly due to likely incompatibilities with other similar options. B)
