    that EV car is awesome!!! half the price of the car is in the bateries rigth? lol 236hp OMG thats a lot of juice to pull out from bateries, what should be the installed power of your house to charge those... grrr... monsters lol

    You nailed it. Almost half the cost of production is the batteries. The HP rating is nothing compared to the 1500 ft-pounds of torque at the rear wheels! This car can be charged from a standard 110V 15A outlet... but it'll take a while. Standard charging would be done from a 220V 40A outlet... but it can be charged VERY quickly with 600V and 80A.
