Wife and I are both in our mid-forties. Kids are out of the house now, so we didn't need the gas-guzzling SUV any longer. And as we've matured, we're more focused on taking care of the environment and doing our part to reduce the nation's dependance on foreign oil.

39 and 34, two kids 4 and 1 and 2 Great Danes that fit in the back although they have to crouch a little if they want to stand.
Replacing a Ford Focus wagon that was written off after I was rear ended.
Drove the v home on solid ice last week and with the brand new snow tires it was great! I kept it in low gear and it felt as solid as can be expected when driving on ice.
Here in Canada I'm getting about 730 kilometres a tank which works about to about 450 miles (combined highway and city driving) and I figure that's on about 40 litres.
I expect to get better mileage once I put the low friction tires back on and the weather warms up.

43 male, married with 7 & 10 year old boys, two dogs. Using it for my daily commute, short weekend getaways. Sold my 2008 Prius simply to gain more room for growing boys, carpool, dropping off the dogs at doggie daycare, non-leather leather-like interior, and more up-to-date technology.

39 & 41. 2 kids (11yr boy & 7yr girl). During the week, my wife & I work opposite schedules. She drove a 99 Sienna (almost 200k) and I drove a 05 Titan (70k). Purchasing the v and both of us using it for a commuter vehicle has saved a ton on gas so far. Our fuel savings almost pays the note for the v. Shuttling the kids around between football, wrestling, soccer and softball, we needed the extra room for gear. We kept both vehicles (van= extra vehicle, truck= recreation, fishing, hunting, camping, etc.

62 and 60 and retired here, wanted something with room, comfortable and good gas mileage as a hedge against raising gas prices. 17 years of Explorer's and Town Car's at 13 to 23 mpg. Now at 40+.

Kept the 2004 Eddie Bauer Explorer to haul the boat and utility trailer and for the 4 wheel drive if we should need it in Pennsylvania
. Really like the "V" so far.

60 and still working full time, also wanted something with room, comfortable and good gas mileage. Pick up 3 dogs from my wifes doggy daycare everyday on the way home from work. 14 years in my Dodge Durango which averaged 12 mpg. Nice to see an avg of 40 mpg in my new Prius.

    I'm 22, 23 in a week. Owned a 2008 Model II from new in 2008-2009.

Was going to buy a V in December but dealer made me a good deal on a 2011 liftback model 2 that was too good to pass up, although I still envy them, the liftback meets my needs now that I think about it.

I am 49 and husband is 62. We are active empty-nesters (20 yr old daughter off to college) who kayak, cycle, and cross country ski. I traded in my beloved 2003 Acura MDX (had 126,000 mi and averaged 18 mpg in the city & 23 on the highway) for the V 5 and never looked back! I love the Prius V, its ride and all the room for everything I need to take along!

Wife and I are both 29. Married a month ago. Ordered Prius V before the marriage and just picked it up today. This is now our primary car for obvious reasons. We sold her Ford Focus Wagon to buy this. Our other car is my 2001 Tacoma.

We are 44 and 45. We forgot to grow up though :) Kids are out of the house. We have a big truck for the runs to Lowes and the dump, a Mercury Mariner and replaced a Caddy CTS with the V. The V is almost too big inside, we used to have an Avalon and the V seems to have more rear seat room!
