What changed in "2018CY NAVDVD UPD GE" - Navigation DVD Gen 6 18.1 Map Update U9A (86271-GEN06-18)?

    I recently purchased the navigation DVD update for my 2010 Prius (Gen 6, 18.1, U9A). The Toyota part name is "2018CY NAVDVD UPD GE" and the number is 86271GEN0618.

    When I last updated my maps to 11.1, I recall seeing a list of changes included in the update, such as roads that were added. This information probably came from a website, but I can't be sure.

    Does anyone know where I might find the change list for each update?

    There used to be release notes but they stopped producing those.

    If the archive is easily accessible, that would be great. I will probably be purchasing 18.1 in the coming days, and I was curious to see what updates were made to the maps.

    I purchased the U9A 86271 ver 18.1 from Amazon for my 2012 prius V and unfortunately it would not update. I have requested another DVD copy hopefully with better luck.

    I bought one from Amazon as well. It was clearly a burned disc (bootleg). I had read error just viewing the disc on my PC, so there’s no way the NAV system would read it.

    I received a refund.

    Even if the disc could be read, it s not a great idea to use a burned disc in the system. Burned discs often require more work to read and can wear out the drive faster. They definitely generate more heat.
