What color is Summer Rain?

Just saw the color on my commute to work this morning. The color looked light-blue under overcast skies. Very nice color indeed, it was my second color option.

 

Every time I walk out to the parking lot to get in my C, I find myself admiring the color. I'm glad I didn't settle for another color just because this one was a little out of the way to get. I saw a white one a couple weeks ago, and it just blends in with the crowd compared to this color. However, sometimes I guess standing out may not always be what you want to do. hehe

 

Thanks for posting these pics! I've been wondering about this color myself. Your first pic looks the blue of my 'Tidewater' color of my '08 Honda fit. The lower pic looks totally different. So if I do decide on buying a c, I sure hope the dealer can find me one! I haven't seen any around.

 

I agree, the dealer was trying to make a quick sale. My dealer doesn't have that color either. Their goal (at least right now) is to get rid of what they have, and they probably don't want to bother with whatever paperwork is involved with getting one from another dealer. I told my salesman that if I'm paying for a brand new car, I'm getting the color I want! We'll see......

 

Looks like Carolina Blue!

 

Its a combo color…. Depending on the light it can be baby blue, look turquoise, etc.. I have Summer Rain… I like the color.. looks amazing with tint and wheels, though I have not gotten that far yet lol….

One of the better color choices I think…. Summer Rain and Moon Glow white were our top choices… seeing as the Gen III is Blizzard Pearl, we opted to go with the Summer Rain for the C.

 

The color is definitley a light aqua color, in fact I noticed in Australia (?) it's called 'aqua'. If you've seen the light blue Honda Fits, you'll see in this pic that the C is much more aqua than light blue.

 

Yup, it is called Aqua. Continuing the water theme, Blue Streak Metallic is called Tidal Blue here.

 

Aqua is the accurate color description IMHO, at least for me, 'summer rain' doesn't even create a color picture in my head!! What color is rain?? LOL Who thinks up these names? I want that job!!

Wow... I thought that only ever happened for us non-USians. Of course the reason the one you posted didn't come up in my search is because it's blocked for us.

 

On some days it looks green to me!

 

I've only seen one irl and aqua describes it well.
