    They cut it down a little. But they don’t extend far enough down like a mud flap would.

    Looks good. I might consider this since my passenger side housing on my 17 prius got messed up. This will work with my preexisting bsm and defroster correct. I'm ocd on my rides and this bugs me. 20180224_072238.jpg

    This mod does not affect the mirror glass (bsm/ defroster)at all. This replaces the chrome strip at the bottom only. If your housing is broken, you would still have to replace it.

    I thought they had the full housing in 2 colors. The first photo in post 37 looks like white mirror covers. The new ones there are black.

    They are available in Chrome or Black Chrome accorfing to @sfv41901 .

    Toyota Prius Sequential Turn Signal Mirror Light for ZVW50, ZVW51

    Anybody here had this installed? It looke like it resolves one of the early Gen 4 complaints. & think @krmcg was one who complained.

    I replaced my mirror covers with black. What Sean is referencing is the chrome itself. You can get bright chrome or black chrome.

    I another site linked from an ad on Hybrid Pit that had Absolutely Red & Blizzard Pearl covers for an additional $120. Your mirrors were originally black, I must assume? Even my Trim two Gen 4 has white mirrors.

    No, I had blizzard pearl covers originally. I swapped to black because I like the way they don’t break up the black windows.

    Where did you order the power folding mechanism? Didn't see it on hybrid pit. Ready to order and install as soon as spring arrives.

    I would love the black chrome mirrors, the folding kit and those nifty turn signal indicators, but it's not something I could install myself...

    Suspect he may be thinking of the Honda-style one on the right below the right side mirror only. Not such a good system which Honda itself seems to be discontinuing in the new Accord.
