:confused:I see a lot of Prius owners adding the body braces. I like the look and price of the Cusco center brace above. How many braces do we need, front, center, rear? I think the Cusco center brace, based on design & length might be the only brace needed. Any opinions?

It's either an H11 or H16 bulb (depending on year). Nothing special about that.
I'd go to an autoparts store, buy a bulb, replace it and never go back to that dealership again. The fact that they didn't check the bulb first is frightening.

I wonder the same thing, so I had all of them installed. Could not be happier. Don't forget the front and rear sway bar...

Installed the relay for my LED turn signal lights, the hyper blinking was annoying my wife. Was super easy to do, just felt around behind the steering wheel unplugged the cord and plugged in the relay. Less than $7

Finished installing my Clazzios. The back seat was definitely more time consuming, and I think I broke the two retaining clips on the seat bottom because the bottom isn't locking in place, so I'll have to replace the clips.
Oh well. I'm very happy with the outcome.

It took me a while to decide adding this CUSCO center brace, because I installed the CUSCO strut tower bar then I start looking into their line of products and they are made in Japan, just as you mention...I am going to add 1 more front power brace this will complete chassis stiffening enhancement. I drove the Prius on the freeway at 80+ mph boy it is stable like a big full size car. Since you have the PIP advance it came with the updated center brace already. I will post pictures and result once I complete the project.

    Very nice!
My Clazzio's arrived last night- I'm going to start on them this weekend.
I'm using this video as my guide:

No centercaps? The wheels are super nice, but looks unfinished without centercaps IMO.

It really wasn't too bad. I was able to do the passenger front in under 30 min, drivers seat was about 45 min (it was the first one I did)
The back seat took just under two hours.

    Thanks,
The guy in the video is a machine- he does the front pass seat in 2.5min and half the car in 12 min!
We're due to have nice weather here tomorrow- 72 deg or so and sunny, I don't think I could ask for better.

Did you do the 'wings' on the left and right of the rear seatback? Some guys have left them cloth- they say it looks better..

    Hi PC!

. Installed chrome door handle covers to go with lower rocker moldings. The sides were too dark and needed something (too me, anyway).

    Looks like rain... again...
My JDM Mirrors are on the way. Found my post from May 2011 on my last mirror install! ;)
My last Prius was set up sporty, this one is a bit more on the luxury side...

I did not use the two wing pieces or the front arm rest.
I fold the back seats down a lot and I felt that the friction of the seats against the wing pieces would cause them to come loose or require adjustment a lot.

The front armrest just doesn't fit all that well and it impedes the sliding action of the armrest, I go in there a lot too, so it was annoying to have to adjust that cover every time.

The seats are great though and the fit is excellent. I'll probably readjust after they break in a bit, just to tighten them up further.
