    Took to dealer today for 55k maintenance. Installed Trico Onyx blades as they were $10 off the pair at Advanced Auto. Detailed the car for the hood install. Can't put a new hood on a dirty car! lol

    Just screw it off counter clockwise. There's threading so it takes a little force to get through the thread.

    How did he get the LHD shift pattern on it though? All the ones from Japan are RHD JDM knobs with the shift pattern for RHD.

    After taking 12 days for the Toyota Sunnyvale's Service Department to complete a 5k service, I finally received my vehicle back after having to contact a Toyota Corp Escalation Team and threatening to default on my loan. Within an hour, Toyota Sunnyvale delivered my Prius, via flatbed tow service, to my work location in Santa Cruz. No apology for the time they took to do a fluid check and tire rotation.

    Personally, I would recommend avoiding Toyota Sunnyvale like the plague. They have no intention of providing a modicum of customer service for any services they are contractually obligated to provide.


    Anyone know of a decent Toyota service department in the South SF Bay Area?

    Just glad to have my Prius back. :)

    The Prius v loaner they provided came with throttle mapping issues and drove like a tank. o_O
