One baby step at a time. :)

I have just recently started working on my car for the first time in my life. Changed all the light bulbs, changed and rotated tires, changed engine and transaxle oil, cleaned MAF and Throttle Body etc. Ironically, probably to the cursing of many enthusiasts, my interest in cars started to climb after I purchased the Prius (used). Although I am still more technology/mpg inclined than performance per se.

The great thing about baby steps is it keeps you busy and happy longer than if you do everything all at once. :)

Stick with the 15" wheels and mod your way around those. Larger wheels kill mpg in the GenII. Thankfully, the GenII can look good with 15s and a lowering kit.

Encapsulate! lol. My glove box/right air vent/ center console/ and steering wheel switch covers were painted with the duplicolor plastic paint and adhesion promoter. It's all about the prep. No problems so far and look very oem to close up inspection. Glad you got the PD right on your drls and I will post a pic and wire scheme tonight...it's super easy. :)

I also had a gen2 & also agree that the gen3 styling is a lot better but just F8L said.......the gen2 can also look good.

'Putting lipstick on a pig' or something like that. I am not sure one can do a lot with that front without serious modding efforts. Those headlights are plain ugly and they have fake LEDs. Why, I would never know.

However, I do love the piglet.

You dress up the headlights. Sean has a set with halos for sale. :)

As for the front end. All you need is a chupacabra skull on the hood. ;)

So I also finally got some pics of my car.

While it was in the body shop, I had them de-badge the fenders & rear hatch & paint the roof gloss black.....enjoy.

The skull is uber cool. I might consider this but in Black. Thank you.

As for the headlights, I just changed both the HID's less than a quarter ago. They are not exactly cheap so would like to get some use out of them before doing anything there.

Sean, did you seriously post a bunch of pictures taken on the DARK side of a building? You couldn't have driven 50 yards to the sunlit area? BAH!

Astor the sway bar. Did it really make that big of a difference? So many people say that the TRD bar is ho hum.

That's where the wife wanted me to stop.......so yeah.....pics in the shade.

I felt it mad a difference. I was on the 14 freeway going to the dealer for my service. It was a pretty windy day so I was getting pushed around. When I got back home I installed the RSB & went back to the dealer. It was still windy but this time I wasn't fitting the wind. I also noticed it handled better in the turns I took.

While at the dealer for the 2nd time, I had them disable the reverse beeping & the seatbelt warning. :D
