Well it's a aftermarket part that is being connected to the OEM connector. I know it's all Plug and Play, but some dealers just want to screw you how ever they can.

There are other things that plug into OEM connectors also like aftermarket radios, HID headlights and LED interior bulbs. I would hope that a dealer would put the shift in the same category.

The only way that the shifted can void ur warranty was if it was the cause of a problem & they would have to prove it, not just say it.

Got the rear 6 windows tinted 20%. Kind of wished I did 70% for the driver and passenger windows.

    Mods to date:
    Rear 6 windows 20% tint
Stage 10 carbon fiber with blue light
    WeatherTech floor and trunk mats
    Chrome side moulding
    3M Clear bra
    HeatShield sun shade
    FIAMM horn

Still debating if I should retrofit HID's into the Prius. I love them on the other cars but the headlights on the Prius isn't too bad.

Drove through 3-6 inches of snow and slush on OEM tires... scary.

Mounted my Garmin GPS in a convenient location. The power cord is nicely hidden except for what you see in the pictures.

Its the 1450. I'm not sure they still sell that model. No traffic because I don't commute. I like the 5 inch size. The main feature I was looking for is to set up routes with multiple way points because the shortest or fastest are not necessarily the way I want to go on long trips.

The problem with the Nav in the Prius Three is that the screen is low resolution and hard to read. Often I use the GPS to see what roads are ahead when I not on a programmed route. I can't read the upcoming street names on the Prius Nav. Another feature of the Garmin is it tells you the correct speed limit on many roads and all highways. Very convenient if you missed the last speed change sign or just need a reminder.

I just bought the 50LM from Amazon for $99. Great GPS and I also put mine in the same place on the drivers side small window.

Swapped in some LED tail lights for the burnt out stock one. Couldn't tell the diff from the non-LED bulb.

Look forward to the wiring pics, I have a dual dash cam to install myself, and not sure about how to run the wire (was way easier in my RAV4).

I got my roof wrapped in glossy black, turned my fog covers covered in yellow, and lightly tinted my tails

Got my red 3rd brake light today from Panson & replaced the relay that came with the Yaris fog lights to a more common Bosch relay. The 1 that came with the harness is readily available.......so now my LED fogs are working ;)

    Pics coming in the am.
