Yes, those two products are intended for automotive use. But Peel and Seal is a roofing/HVAC product; it is much cheaper and it can outgas for a long time. I don't recommend using it as a replacement for products designed for automotive soundproofing.

When I replaced the front door speakers, I used Noico 80 mil sound deadening mat – 3 15x22” sheets /door, double layers behind speakers, purchased from Amazon. Because I wanted improved sound from the speakers I covered the entire outer door panels. Very easy to use. I had 2 15x22 sheets left over. Used one sheet per rear door using pattern from Dylan. To further reduce the tinny noise from the door handles I used more sound deadening mat in that area. Worked well. Did not notice any smell afterward.

Peel and Seal works just fine. I've had mine for over a year now and I park my car in this SoCal heat all the time even in 115 degree weather during the summer and there is no odor at all. I used two rolls in the spare tire well, trunk right and left panels and underneath the spare tire well which is under the car.

I used this to help control the sound and vibration of my two air compressors that are mounted in the spare tire well and it worked great. The best part is that it only cost me 17 bucks a roll. So all in all I spent only 34 bucks. Sure you can use Dynamat and all those other ones out there but I wasn't willing to spend a couple hundred bucks for it. Peel and Seal worked great for me and got the job done. No fumes or odor at all.

Car is at the dealer to get the curtain airbag recall and have them look at an oil leak.

However, haven't done much to the car the last few days because I was in San Francisco with the family driving this to the redwoods!!

That looks like a replica of my front lip.

It's pretty cheap, though. Let me know if anyone gets it. Curious about fitment.

    Audi's are so awesome - my first car was a '85 4000s Quattro (center/rear locking diff's, 5 cylinder motor, 5-speed manual).
    My wife wants an AllRoad.....

Hi everybody, bit of a lurker and first time poster. Got my '11 prius three two weeks ago and have done a few small things already to it:

Installed black and gray coverking neosupreme seat covers
    Maxpyder 3d floor mats
Hikari H11 LED headlights (newest version from amazon).

I am very impressed with the LEDs. I was very worried about the light output, but these things are fantastic.

I have been building a list of mods to do as well, but have a limited budget. Up next are:

    Fog light installation (yellow)
    LED turn signal mirrors
    DRL led switchback signal mod
Sound deadening the cabin (probably do this in stages like doors first, the floor and roof later).
Replace taillights (probably with smoked Spec-D lights, but I don't know)
Thinking about vinyl wrapping the 15" alloy rims with this beautiful black chrome from VVivid.

I'll be posting pics soon of my mods.

I don't recall seeing any exactly like that picture.

But the Revier DRL is pretty similar. (Don't think these fit a 2011.)

These "Angel Eye" fog lights might be neat.

    I just did a search for: ZVW30 DRL (y)

It was either @saulbassfan or @Gaspeed that had them.

Yeah I've seen those jdm led turn signals and I like the look a lot, but I love the drl strip on that one I posted.

Thank guys for pointing some people out. I ended up messaging one member to see what they are. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

I've been doing some digging though and I haven't stumbled into them yet.....

Hey Fam! It's been fun and a good run. Sammie is back to OEM height w/stock wheels. @andino helped me with the swap! Andy bought my BC Coilovers and he's selling his Tein Street Advances. If anyone needs anything, I have several items in the private sale section. (3 wheel sets, shift knob, etc.) just search for posts under my name. Thanks! - Ram
