The ISM roof spoiler is listed everywhere for a 10-11. Does anybody know if the 12 is different? I'd like to order one but I'd like to confirm there wasn't anything different on the facelift cars???

It will fit. All gen 3 from 10-15 are essentially the same.

The major differences are the front bumper & the Taillights.

It’s not a difficult mod at all. Drain oil first, of course. Then you pop off a few bolts using a long extension, reaching past the wheel. The old comes right off, the new pops right on, torque the bolts, spin on a new filter, maybe pop on a Fumoto valve while you’re at it... Presto! Oil change nirvana.

It reads like a good mod for the convenience alone.

I don’t know... it happened to me, and I do all my own oil changes and I’m very careful. I could not get that filter off, no way, no how.

So my wife, my son and I took my Prius to Costco and have a slow leak in one of my tires fixed (we usually take our new CR-V everywhere now) and then filled the cargo area with stuff from Costco. After driving the car for 5 years and I'm still amazed at how much crap this car can swallow!

S.O.B. Thanks for letting me know. I’m going to SF this Sunday and coming back on Monday. Wondering if you can leave it somewhere in the bushes on one of those days, and I’ll come and get it in case your running errands. Say Sunday around 10-11am.

It's on there so tight, tried again and it's absolutely not coming off without an impact wrench. I really think they impacted it on with some thread locker, there's no way anyone in their right mind would tighten it up this much.

On that note, I ended up buying the spin on oil filter conversion kit from HybridPit. Should fix the issue, and make oil changes a bit easier in the future. I also picked up some TOMs member braces for the front! Autocross season starts so so I have to be ready.

Also actively searching for a G's front and rear bumper, and a carbon fiber hood if anyone has a lead!

Installed fog lights on my Prius over the weekend. Replaced the halogen bulbs with some BeamTech LED bulbs I swapped out recently. Pretty happy with it!
Thinking of swapping the housing out for a projector type and getting yellow LED bulbs instead.
Took the commonly quoted 5 hours to finish. 80% of which was spent getting the cover off the bumper!

Yesterday I installed my new taillights. The first Prius in Germany with these taillights. IMG_20190330_142626.jpeg IMG_20190330_164336_084.jpeg
