The wrap is not real CF by any means, it is vinyl after-all. I always recommend getting a sample and playing with it. Get used to how it feels when heated, stretches, etc. before starting a big project. I guess i'm partial to the 3M 1080 because it is easy to work with and i'm used to it... and I've gotten pretty good with it :)

I always purchase mine from Auto Vinyl Solutions on eBay (3M vinyl, Hexis vinyl items in autovinylsolutions store on eBay!). I buy from them because i had originally purchased my roof wrap from them so i want to make sure all the vinyl i use is the same. Sometimes people advertise wrap but don't specify what type it is. I believe the 3M Di-Noc is more adhesive but not as easy to work with. The largest sheet i bought from them was for my roof (6 foot by 5 foot) and cost me a little under $100.00

That's the same guide I used for installing my kit. I think it was the best one because its very detailed and it shows it step by step picture with instructions.

    I got my kit online.

And for those of you who were wondering whether a hitch could be used on a Prius with a Prius Ground Effects Kit...the answer is YES! My Prius is living proof

A picture before the kit installation
    image.jpg
And a picture after the kit was installed
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
It's flushed and slightly touching the hitch. But the 4 safety fasteners underneath keep the kit from ever popping out

    It's a 2010, so I had silver alloys. I'll snap a close up tomorrow.

Do any of u modders know what the dealer does to disable the aftermarket alarm the is dealer installed? I didn't want to pay the added price of the unit so they disabled it.

sounds like you need to find the chip that they took out. Mine is a KARR and I can't find any. The dealer tried to "add on" the system + installation for 800 bucks:cautious: . I laughed and said I rather get a Viper with remote car starter at that price.

That was my problem too and also my existing hood prop stick was hitting the damper so I had to take it off. I'm going to take some pics and walk someone through the install.

First hand wash since the fall, scrubbed away winter. I pulled the hubcaps and cleaned the wheels up. I'm still trying to choose new wheels and am now debating the Momo Winter Pro wheels just by the ease of year-round cleaning.

If you can't find it, I won't even try :notworthy: Something tells me Toyota thought this out. I am still researching on a Viper unit, but I am seeing much playing around is also needed to get it to work properly:mad: I am too noob, and I am scared to bump into electronics problems. So far I've talked to Best Buy and CarToys, both cannot guarantee all the functions will work. For example Smartstart needs an additional override unit $150, and I read about many other annoying little problems with Viper. I'm not gonna spend hundreds on a nice unit if some of its functions' not going to work.

I'll just wait till next winter, I won't be needing Smart start anytime soon.

Finally got around to trying out the new EMPIRE car cover. This is a 2013 so the EMP8HB2 is supposed to be the right cover. It dosn't cover all the way down the rear and the black straps that are to hold the cover on are way tooo short.
Going to get a sharkfin antenna as I am worried the antenna will get brok off.
Not a bad cover for the money and a so called 10year guarantee, Waiting for the LED interior lights. Got my KRITTER RIDDER installed behind the grill (had to almost remove the entire front so called bumper.
