What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

    I might tap to the dome light, that way it only turn ON when I open the door.

    Yes that is whee most do it. There is a blue wire u can tap into.. Easiest place to find it is the a pillar.. That's where I got mine.

    Wait, I taped the the black wire to the blue A pillar wire and it's ON when you turn on your head lights. Which I dislike. Does your do that at night time, when headlights are ON position?

    So based on ur pics it looks like u tapped the blue wire in the "A" pillar. Where do u have that wire going? Is it going to the blk wire that also has the white wire?

    Also.....did u tap the foot well lights for the pilot lights?

    Yes, I connected the black wire (which has black and white) to the "A" pillar blue wire and white taped to the red wire driver side footwell light.

    Ok so @ night, which LEDs are lit up? The LEDs that shine on the floor or the ones with the turn signal?

    U need to recheck ur wires. If u connected the blue "A" pillar wire to the blk with wht wire & connected the wht wire to the red on the driver foot junction, then it should only turn on with the dome lights.

    Also why did u tap into the footwell light?

    I just chat with a member here and he confirm it supposed to be like that. However, again I dislike the feature. I might removed the "A" pillar blue to the dome and see what it does. But here is a pic I just toke a min ago. Testing.jpg

    That's the pilot light only. Not the puddle light.

    When u open ur door, do used more LEDs light up?

    savior - i like the white pinstripe. i have red on mine. im leaning towards redoing it with white since red looks a tinge ricey.

    Yeah I know what you mean, I was going to do red like most other time attack style rims, but I saw the white pin stripe and thought, might as try it. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out though. Here's a better shot I took when I made a pizza run a few hours ago. Still haven't put the center caps on yet as they are still drying from the black epoxy paint.

    Smartest upgrade to date. Thanks Irv, aka Rude person's, for the brace!

    Annoying install though. One of the bolts was torqued too tight and was almost impossible to remove. I ended bending one of the screws and a 10-15 minute install took 2 hours trying to manipulate the screws.

    Overall, the hard ache was worth every sweat. My car drives smoother on the freeway, especially turning/changing lanes at high speeds.

    This is a must for everyone.

    I too installed the Rude person's brace! Thanks again Rude person's for the brace and insanely fast shipping! Love it as well, though I found the install to be very easy (sorry to hear yours was not). Took me all of about 10 mins. Also did the wiper delete. I'll try and get a pic of the brace on the car too.
