Bake and paint or vinyl tint looks better than clear imo

    I tried both...

Lots of patience, hot solder knife, paint and butyl to reseal the taillight and you can do this! Took me two cars and several yrs b4 I attempted mine. Had they not got damaged in the wreck, I'd have them for sale too.

Replaced stock sway bar with 24mm from a 2004 Pontiac Vibe. $25 from the local u-pick-it yard. Time to autocross! 0802171922.jpg 0802171921.jpg

Few days ago i did wash and wax my Prius. It is still ugly tho :D Today i did change oil+filter, cabin air filter and air filter. After that i changed my spark plugs and oh boy the old ones were shitty. They were badly over their prime. I put the new Denso Iridium Tough spark plugs and they feel great. Car runs now so much better and MPG is increased. There is fresh air in cabin too :D Lastly i put little bit of more air to tires, 40 PSI and it feels good to drive now. I like this car more and more. :)

Yes, i agree. It has enough space, it is comfortable, very good on gas, cheap to run and very reliable. It is easy to drive in town and in bad weather etc.

Truthfully the only reason I bought one lol. Went from 10 minute no traffic commute to a 1 hour with some stop and go commute and was in a SUV having to fill up every like 3-4 days.

I got 2nd place in my class. Placed 14 out of 20 Pax. Not too bad for the first time.

I stole a swaybar from an '04 Pontiac vibe, with stock worn out 266000 mile struts. :p
Dat understeer tho! Seriously, I think tires would be my best bet at improving my time. The sidewalls on the cheapest thing Discount tire sells are not rated for this!

You did only upgrade the front anti-roll bar? Stronger rear anti-roll bar will decrease understeer (or induce oversteer). Stronger front anti-roll bar will increase understeer.

So fitting aftermarket rear anti-roll bar will probably get you better time. But of course tires are the most important part.

Replaced the amber turn signal bulbs with chrome coated amber bulbs so they blend in more when not illuminated.

    Sh**...
I've got nothing in comparison to autocrossing
    .
I spent the whole 2 weeks moving a whole garden to the recycling plant in preparation. Cleaning up the damn house before we can start selling. Only got one pic (in this there were two more large, 1m^3 bags).
Had a boot full of ruble, Yew tree trimming, etc.
Drove almost 100 logs and stumps across the city... pretty sure I was well over the 320kg limit.. when I thought it was 450kg...:cautious:

Ah well. If only the rear shocks were a tad more beefier, it would be a perfect solution for a ''station wagon for the city'', but the fact stands that it halved the trips needed in comparison to the Freelander available.

Now my only reward is the community of spiders that now live in my car

Had experience with similar chrome bulbs, they got hotter than oem or led - and didn't seem as bright. Hope you have better luck with those than I did.

So far so good. Seem just as well as the amber ones that were in it. I had these a few years back on my xB and didn't have issues either.

Down the line I may switch to LED since everything else is lol.

Added 2016 Corolla S rims and tires. I know I'll lose some on the gas mileage, but the car looks so much better.
