Hiking boots, trekking poles, tire chains and, when not needed seasonally, ice scraper. I really like some of the stuff that others have on their list and will probably consider adding a few more things like blankets, flares, jumper cables, etc...

Standard Emergency kit with DC air compressor, jumper cables, tools, etc in a nice canvas bag; the lugnut lock key, and tire jack.....oh and a rolled up puzzle of Washington DC...don't know why that is still in there

If I am traveling to the units I supervise and am taking problem cases back to my officers, I will stash them in the "Hole" along with my work laptop

Most every thing in the luggage box compartment is in clear plastic boxes labeled and vacuum sealed. (My ammunition is in a small 1 hour fire-proof box - no cook off.)

might not be a bad idea if she was stuck behind this

    http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/project...p-5737497c.html

The piece of the new Tacoma Narrows bridge that has been stranded at the Idaho-Washington border for the past two weeks could start moving again as early as Monday, but when it does, it’s going to be a long, slow trip.....

The trucks will take up two lanes and travel at 15 to 20 mph all the way across the state on Interstate 90, over Snoqual-mie Pass, then down Interstate 5 and onto Highway 16 – a trip likely to take four days.

What lower luggage compartment? Now I'll have to go look. You had to make me go out again in the cold drizzle?
