What do you think about orange Prius?

Ric - those are awesome! The copper is nice - it reminds me of a lipstick color on a car that I've seen somewhere before but just can't place it right now.

I think they are available in "adult" funeral colors because of the market they are trying to sell the car to. If they were mostly bright colors, the Prius wouldn't be taken as seriously....at least at first.

Now that they are a sensation, I say: "bring on the colors!!!"

I think copper could be interesting... it would be on my list as acceptable

I would have gotten that color if it was available. Easy to find in a parking lot.

I think I'd have a hard time choosing if I was offered some of those colours

I think the original, thread starting, orange is awesome! Heck, I'm all for any color that stands out amidst a sea of similarly toned vehicles. As a matter of fact, I've always been irritated at the lack of color variety for most automobiles. I don't care about 500,000 shades of FOREST green, dark FOREST green, light FOREST green, dark FOREST green with sparkles...

Of course, that's one of the cool things about motorcycles, you can get current popular models in bright orange, lime green, blue, titanium, and all sorts of other colors right from the FAKTORIE...

Almost every solid color presentation I've seen within this thread looks cool to me. It's when you start mixing and matching colors that things can get real ugly...

I heard a request for teal, so here are two versions:

And since the Prius is a "green" car, why not have an actual green?

I'd lead a St. Patty's Day parade with either of those greens, hv (er, do you have a nickname?).

Today I was cruising my dealer's lot (sound familiar to anyone? ) and came across two of the brightest colors I've ever seen on cars.

One was a "Sunburst Orange Metallic" on an '06 Chevy HHR. I liked it---in direct sun it was the "goldest gold" imaginable.

The other was "Key Lime" on an '06 Aveo. It looked like a glob of sherbet shaped like a car.

The HHR came with nicely contrasting dark gray upholstery. I'd buy a Prius that color in a heartbeat.

 

I like the dark green but that would be to hard to explain. "This is a green car." "Oh Yeah?"
