What is this plug behind cover near traction battery? This a diagnostic port or a feature I don't have?

    Thanks

From the terminal arrangement, general location, and a peek at the Electrical Wiring Diagram (more info), it’s junction connector S20, which joins the ground wires from several nearby parts. Junction connectors are used instead of splices where several wires in the same harness need to be connected; the black plug you removed should have shorting pins connecting the terminals of the white connector.

Never thought a plug would be the Ground but does make sense. Thanks!
