oh ya. i will actually have a chance to look at the car tomorrow. i had to work 11 hours today so much time to do anything yet.
I have a Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) 2012 and try to drive conservative, to save fuel. The best was 700km per tank. I did the calculation and comes ilk 5.6 average per 100km.
400 to 800 miles per tank of 87 octane 10% ethanol gasoline... My mileage varies widely depending on how, when, where, why, and what I am driving in I have posted my entire mileage log for almost 5 years (almost 60,000 miles) on cleanmpg dot com and fuelly dot com Normally my 2010 Prius III gets about 550 miles per 10 gallons in the fall-winter to 650 miles per 10 gallons in the spring summer... I can get worst or much better depending on certain factors. Right now my onboard computer says I'm getting about 60 mpg over the last 400 miles ... computed more like 57 mpg I'm a skilled hypermiler so my mileage is usually within the top 10% of all Prius drivers. I can go anywhere between 470 to 495 miles on a tank to reach the dreaded "one bar". Believe it or not, freeway driving dips my mpg! City driving gets the average to 50 mpg and sometimes 53.
These numbers are kind of meaningless without AVERAGE SPEED traveled. There was one post in here that actually stated the drive at a normal speed on the highway, 75mph.
Just filled her up today since I got a decent deal ($2.55/gal). Got a DTE of 580+ miles. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
