    Totally false/impossible. It dosent matter what make/model/design it is, all cats = exhaust resistance. I've taken the cat totally off many cars, headers, straight flow muffler, everything. 0% resistance from the block to the tip. You gain mabey 5 mpg....on a 4 cyl. There is no way just a CAT can double your MPG.
