My last post on this thread was in nov. 09, as i recall. I had just put 4 new 195/55/16 Kumho solus KH16 tires on my 07 touring. It took about 2000 to 2500 miles for these tires to get back to the 48mpg I had been getting on the oem integrity tires. Since then I have been getting 48.8 mpg.
I now have 23,400 miles on these Kumhos and all 4 are worn to the wear bars, and yes I did rotate all 4 tires every 5000 miles. I have been running the tire pressures at 42 front and 40 rear. The handling and ride have been very good with the Kumhos
I am in the process of trying to get a warranty credit from Kumho, since these Kumhos had a 60,000 mile tread wear warranty. Since I only got 23,000+ I am a little leery about getting Kumho again, it will depend how they honor their warranty.
I am leaning toward the Bridgestone ecopia EP100,as a replacement. any comments!!

half your issue was the fact that bought kumhos....they are horrible with treadlife....

the Ecopia 100's are summer only and I notice you live in PA..be careful

I personally run Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max in 195/60/15. I love them!

The new Kumho's have a 100,000 mile warranty. If you liked the Kumhos you may want to check these out as they are rated for LRR.

The Fuel Max tires have a high treadwear rating as do the Nokian eNTYRE. The Ecopia has a rather low treadwear rating.

We just put a set of Kumho Eco Solus HM KR22 on our 2005 (111,000 miles on it) and the next day had two flats. America's Tire said it was punctures (I guess it could be). They seem fine except for the bad tramlining on highways with rain grooves. Hope that diminishes over the next couple thousand miles as it's very annoying.
