I really don't want to pay the hefty price tag on an upstream o2 sensor that I need, so I was looking at the Bosch 15733 Universal O2 sensor. (Bosch 15974 is the oe replacement). I'm not sure if this sensor will work or not, I've read conflicting opinions. I do have a 15974 that I ordered from amazon, but I think it's wrong and have no way of knowing if it's the wrong sensor in a box that has that part number. Anyone successfully install a universal O2 sensor for the upstream?

Here are pics if anyone can tell me if this is a legit Bosch 15974, or if the seller stuck something else in the box... 20190326_000141.jpeg 20190326_000206.jpeg 20190326_000222.jpeg

Buy Denso brand sensors. They are the brand Toyota uses and some people have had multi thousand dollar problems chasing the crap sensors. Sometimes being cheap costs more in the long run.

Also the upstream sensor is a fuel/air ratio sensor. It’s very important to use the Denso there
