    Im a car freak.

my previous cars can tell which were Cayman, Acura TL type S, GS350.

since I tasted what hybrid taste like, i wont be going back to those gasoline drinking beasts anymore.

My next car will be another hybrid but inexpensive like CT200h.

Just drove to Wal-Mart 10 miles away & did 70 mpg. Love these hybrids. Why more people don't wake up & get one I do not know.

The fact that I cruise at 35mph on a 40mph stretch for over 10 miles a day might be putting off some. Another might be how gentle and slow I start off from a signal and I also slow down to a signal/stop over a 100 feet stretch. All I want to say is that there are quite a few misconceptions with respect to hybrids.

Hopefully I won't have to think about that for awhile.

I just got my Prius about a month ago. Really enjoy the car but as a new home owner part of me wishes I bought a truck.

When, the HOV stickers expire hopefully extended to 2018, I'll replace my PiP with a BEV to continue using HOV lanes. I'm thinking it'll probably be the next generation Leaf or Tesla. Or maybe even a used Model S if its range still exceeds the contemporaries.

:)Similar scenario. I'm off the juice. I love most cars, but that doesn't mean I have to own a particular model. The Prius represents "intelligent" transportation to me. I figured it was the right car and I was right (again).

We will need to replace my future wife's Malibu sometime in the next couple years. Either she takes the Prius and I use the truck or we'll buy her a Fit, Civic, or Corolla.

I really like the looks of the Chevy Spark EV but I also want to see what Tesla has planned for their more affordable vehicle that speculates to get around 200 Miles per charge... we shall see.

Just got a Sonic. Would have considered an Elio if the Sonic didn't happen.

I too am something of a petrolhead. I've come down in engine capacity by some way since the car before last - a 600CL. My Prius has 25% of the engine capacity and 1/3 of the cylinders. It was a nice car: it was unbelievably comfortable and astonishingly fast. But for day-t0-day urban driving, I prefer the Prius.

I would definitely stick with hybrids now. Not just because of the consumption, but because I spend a lot of time in heavy traffic, and I love the silence and the lack of vibration.

I'm toying with the idea of upgrading from my Gen II Prius at the moment. If I do, I think I'll go for either a Gen III Prius i-Tech (equivalent to a Prius 5 in the US, I think), or a HyCam.

Unless the project I'm working on at the moment comes off.... Then I might go for a GS450h.

Whatever I get, it'll be 1-2 years old. I prefer to let others take that initial depreciation hit. When I bought my current car, it was 2 years old and had done 40,000kms, and I bought it for 40% of its new price. I'd like to do the same for my next car.

IS200T F Sport (this is assuming that the 2.5L V6 anchor gets dropped for the upcoming 2.0T) or IS300h (this is assuming that it makes it to the US).

Not sure which company will be building it, but I know it will be a BEV.

So with a Prius and a Dodge in your garage that brings your fleet average to about 30 mpg.:D

Of the three current muscle cars. I'd choose the Challenger despite its less comparable performance because it looks so damn good!

drove it home and parked it tuesday, been driving the prius.... took the challenger for a drive today, took awhile to realize I was coasting and driving slow....couldn't understand why it wouldn't die when I pushed the start button until I seen the msg on the dash that it wasn't in park...HAHA
