What's that bubble on the dash?

    What is that bubble on the passenger's side of the dashboard? In the Owner's Manual it is included in the Pictorial Index (p. 15) but it is not labeled.

    Googled my question, which directed me back to this forum. Sorry! It didn't come up as a previous discussion when I was first forming my question.

    The answer, from a senior member: It's a light sensor, it senses ambient light level and adjusts your dash lights accordingly.

    Well ... in all models, it adjusts the heat and A/C depending on the intensity of solar heat arriving at the car.

    Only in models with the auto light control does it also adjust the dash lights (or in models that came without the auto light control but have been modded to have it).
