What's the best post-charge EV mileage estimate you've gotten?

:confused:Curious why I only got 9.2 EV miles available on a full charge, when I've been getting 10.5 consistently? By the way, no more than .2-.3 regen on my commute home.

13.9 for the past three days.
Up from 12.3 as recently as early April…

12.1. One morning chg per day. It seems to me that the number is based on about last 50 miles. Is this documented anywhere?

14.2 this morning - up from 13.9. Keeps climbing!

Yesterday featured a regular discharge and then a 16 mile EV trip - with ICE engaged for part of the trip. We'll see how long the 14.2 estimate lasts. This morning, the estimate went from 14.2 to 13.6 in less than a block. So it's definitely a sketchy estimate.

15.4 miles estimated range yesterday. As low as 11 in the winter. Best distance A-B-A, 19.3 miles.

13.5 was the best I have seen. Displayed range had dropped slowly and now is pretty consistent ar 11.1 miles. Thats driving in LA traffic which is pretty flat where I drive but always stop and go. My biggest peeve is when the display increases by .1 miles as I come to a stop sign then it drops back .1 of a mile as soon as I hit the go peddle.

Why is that a "peeve"? The calculation is right on the edge of changing value, you charge a little and then discharge a little. Its simply physics and math, nothing to get upset about.

16.0, but usually it reads from the low fourteens to low fifteens. Seems to read higher the day after I have had a long freeway trip and used EV only for the last 12-14 miles home, then gradually drops each day doing mostly EV driving in town.

I just got back from a ride into town, EV all the way. When I started, the display said 10.4, I went 8.8 miles, the display said I had 4.3 to go. Right now, the car is being charged, so I'll post the latest estimate when it's done.

It keeps showing 9.8 climate on and 10.4 climate off but with summer here I can get over 13 with climate off.

It's a peeve because when I have .1 miles of range I expect to go a bit more than 1 ft before I get down to the lower range. Clearly there is something wrong withe the was the algorithem works. Funily enough for the most part the guess seems to be close to reality

Its very simple. You have 12.049 EV miles, rounded to 12.0 miles. You regen to a stop and now you have 12.050 EV miles rounded to 12.1 miles. It costs you 0.001 miles to accelerate into the intersection. Now you have 12.049 miles rounded to 12.0 miles. See, that was easy, simple math and physics.

Yesterday temp was 90 F outside. I drove with A/C set on 76 F (felt cooler than Gen2 set at 76F).

I drove 12.3 miles with 0.5 miles was remaining.

i think the a/c is much more efficient than the gen II. ice cold the other day at 90 with high humidity. i can keep the fan on low, toggle a/c on and off and be very comfortable. it hardly makes a dent in ev range.
