Whats with the ridiculous login timer?

    This website, unlike any other website, signs me out after something like 2-5 minutes. It's insanely annoying. Sometimes I take longer than that to type out a reply. Is there any way to change this? It's REALLY annoying.

    When you log in, there's a checkbox to "stay logged in" which sets a different cookie, apparently. Works for most.
