What's you favorite Prius color? Why?

Just checked the Blizzard Brigade thread and I was surprised to see that #213 was assigned to me!

Mine is not Blizzard White but Pearl White , but that's a different name for the same color: both have the same paint code: 070

 

I love the Barcelona Red- so beautiful. That being said, I love my Blizzard Pearl with moonroof, especially after I've washed and waxed it. The pearl finish looks so awesome in the right lighting.

 

We saw a Prius plug-in in Moss Landing, I think it was the clearwater blue metallic, it was absolutely beautiful. I really wish that we could buy one of those! We bought our Barcelona Red Prius II last year, and got a super deal on it, it was a 2011. I like most of the colors, the dark blue is great, the rest of the colors are great except for we don't really favor the grey ones as the tend to blend in with the pavement and aren't that visible. Above all else I want people to see my car when I'm driving. I drive with the headlights on every day even though they aren't automatic. The new orange ones are visible, but don't appeal to me.

 

I purchased the "Sandy Beach" (I think its called). It is about the same shade as the North Alabama Dirt.

I took the 2010 to the dealer for the last Toyotacare checkup yesterday, and the guy checking me in said, "Red must be your favorite color"... He remembered me bringing in the 2009 the week before. I had to explain to him that the fact that we have two red Prii was merely a coincidence. When I bought the 2010, the red was the last level five that they had on the lot... And when we started looking for a car to replace the old Golf, the 2009 red happened to be the one that we found that fit the bill.

Don't get me wrong, I like the red, but I wouldn't call it my favorite color, especially on the Gen II... I think that minty/sea foam green is nice on the II.

I had my head set on red with a beige interior but then started looking at the blizzard pearl color combinations and went with that. Much happier in the long run for doing that. The key is the exterior/interior combination for me. I love the dark grey softex with white stitching paired with the blizzard pearl exterior. Add a sunroof and the whole package really looks classy. I think its the contrasting nature of the combination.

I'm still shopping for a pre-owned 2010 or 2011 and price/miles will be the main criteria (have a daughter in college to pay for) but my preferences would be Winter Grey, Blue, or Blizzard Pearl White.

Love the Cherry, but alas, I'm not going to purchase a new one.

 

We just got a Black Cherry Pearl Prius today. I *loved* the color when I first saw it. It looks like my favorite wine, old vine Zinfandel.

I've named the car, "Cherry Bomb."

 

Is the metallic grey and the winter grey the same color? I have the metallic grey..

 

My favorite was Salsa Red, only available on the Prius in '04 and '05 I think. My 2010 Prius is Classic Silver, very practical but there are a lot of them.

 

I do like the dark colors but swirls...so I'd say Blizzard Pearl as well!

 

I'm surprised there no poll to see results.. Blizzard or Gray.. but if I had to pick, white.
