I need to replace the driver side front wheel bearing. We have a mechanic friend who is going to do it. I just wanted to see if you guys have any recommendations on brands. I have a 2014 plug in with 123K miles. This will be the 3rd wheel bearing to be replaced on this car....I’ve already replaced both front and back on the passenger side...one at about 80K and one at about 100K. (And I literally drive like a grandma, so not sure why so many issues with wheel bearings.) Both of those were done by a mechanic in a shop, so I have no idea what brand was used. We’ve looked on Rock Auto and just figured we’d go with a mid grade, but figured I’d check in here for recommendations. Thanks!
