Once upon a time, all the rims were silver, and most of them were steel, with a nice chrome centre cap of some sort. Life was simple.

I too remember those days. I don't want to be crazy obnoxious with chrome or anything, I just want it to be different being that I am powdercoating my suspension parts and want everything to match up or my OCD will go insane

So after copious amounts of research (if only I spent this much time putting more effort into my classes), I found that the Subaru legacy uses a 5-100 bolt pattern as well and these wheels will be ideal for me because they are a 17X7.5 with a 48mm offset Sparco Assetto Gara Red Painted
This will be paired with these tires
    Pirelli P Zero Nero

Overall this should give me the look I am going for I think, now I just have to put in a couple weekends more of work to get them.

Nice! Yes all but the WRX should fit. If you can the real treasure, Subaru OEM BBS 17" those are super lightweight and fit as well. Sadly I doubt you can find them for the Sparco price. Nice find - weight appropriate?

They are 19 pounds a piece so a little heavier than the stock wheels but shouldn't really make too much of a difference being that I already have the roof rack/cargo bin set up.

I predict 2-4 mpg loss - considering rotational weight and tire contact area. ur right, not a lot considering how much they look better over OEM.

How much do you think it will affect my speedo? I've only ever had real gauges in my cars before so we would just adjust the cables to compensate the difference

If your running 215/45R17 you really can't make it any closer. If u run a different size it will only throw it off more +/-.

You can compare tire diameter here vs ur OEM setup. Tire Size Calculator - Tire & Wheel Plus Sizing

But 215/45R17 is as close as you can get to OEM diameter in 17" - that's what I ran for my winter tires in Canada.

Fair enough, My access port may be able to compensate the different with some computer witchery but I guess I will find out after I throw the new shoes on there.

Just ordered the sparco wheels in red along with the new tires. I was just wondering what the thread measurements are for the lug nuts. Everything I am finding seems to point to the M12x1.5 but I just want to be sure.

Well I finally got them in and the TPMS switched over yesterday. It's like a brand new car. IMG_8110.JPG IMG_8117.JPG IMG_8118.JPG
