    Thanks, sidecar!

I noticed they list my wheel (Centerline RPM) at 13.5lbs which seems a bit on the light side. I weighed mine with the Kumho ecsta ASX (22lbs) and they came in at approx. 37.6lbs-38.2lbs on a high quality nitrous oxide scale. I deducted the tire weight and came up with a wheel weight of 15lbs.. This is also what Centerline says they should weight. I'll weight them again next time I purchase tires for them. :)

My original post on the wheel weight. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...g-back-stock-rims-testing-mpg-difference.html

yes I noticed that while browsing the numbers
but are you sure about that F8L; 13.5lbs is awfully light
might be worth me querying them about their source

Looks like it could be possible to have lighter wheel equipment for stock fitted 15" cars. Perhaps a potential saving there noting the following

Yeah, that's what I mean. 13.5lbs seems too light for the 17x7" RPMs. Even Centerline says they weigh 15lbs.

It may be worth emailing them for their sources. :) Either way, thank you for posting the information.

2x is absolute worst case. The get 2x -all- the additional weight would have to be located at the outer surface of the tire tread.

That is the same thing that sidecar posted originally. They use the same weights which is totally off for my wheel. My wheel, Centerline RPM, weighs 15lbs. Not 13lbs.
