    That's balloon juice.
I have multiple naturalized citizens in my extended family and at least one who has a [sic] permanent resident card.
It's not exactly binary, but it's actually not complicated at all.
    Oh wait.
    I got that wrong.... ;)
    It is binary.
    You're either a US Citizen.....
    Or you're NOT!

    People conflate RESIDENCY with citizenship.
    ON PURPOSE, sometimes.... ;)

I'm a huge proponent of LEGAL immigrants, including [sic] Permanent legal residents.
In a fair and just world I would not mind very much if Permanent Residents, really were permanent.

    No.
    They're not.

A vast majority of the illegals that the current administration is concentrating on have criminal records.
Other illegals are sometimes caught up by association but them's the brakes.
    Don't like it?
    Don't break into my country.

Because the DHS is led by an idiot, things do go off the rails but this is probably the ONE ISSUE that got TRUMP elected.
If they continue at their current pace, they will not even be able to deport all of the illegals with criminal records.
THIS will STILL leave us with more ILLEGAL immigrants than the legal populations of a number of US states.
