Then you know we're a sucker for a British accent. It must be in the DNA. Any successful TV ad in the US "must" have a British accent or lots of tight skinny jeans.

 

I'm more partial to tight skinny jeans on a female form, but YMMV. Our ladies, (can't speak for the men) swoon over Yankee drawl accents, so it's like a two way charm.

 

My wife does skinny jeans like . . . . . DAY'UM! Yes I spelled it like I meant it. Hmm, I wonder what she's doing right now . . . . .

I'm amazed about the young "birds" and the Yankee drawl. I can speed my 5 generation Oklahoman up to drawl speed and come over the pond and test it, with my wife of course.

In Victorian England, the spiking of infants soothers (we called them dummies, for dumb-t*t) with alcohol was not unusual amongst certain levels of society. I understand American good decency prohibits the use of certain word in print, regardless of the verbal profanities in US TV series. Me? I call a spade a spade!
