Hello, I just signed up this chat to see if I can get some help here. The catalytic convertor got stolen from my son's 2011 Prius the other day. I've been searching everywhere to find this parts (17410-37300), but no luck so far. Any of you know anywhere I should check? Since he lives in California, it has to be California compliant. Any feedback will be appreciated. Best,

Dealer order or online parts supplier order fast moving part right now as you've noticed. Find another car for now maybe why I keep 3 and powersports equip. And all that money they make it in California he should be in great shape just kidding sorry bud but that's the reality of it at the moment I imagine. I could not imagine being up against this EPA kind of nonsense

I've used these guys a few times, never any problems:

    https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/1741037300

With large items often the shipping cost will not show. I've asked them about this and was assured if I started a purchase a shipping charge will be shown before you have to commit. Also, for small items I've purchased (under $100 CDN as a rule) the only extra was shipping, no taxes or duties.

FWIW, it's showing $2866 CDN for me, on west coast Canada. And no shipping charge indicated.

So when they steal the Gen 3 converter are they on bolting it from the exhaust manifold and then cutting the pipe right there at the output or are they cutting it up front too?

They can arrive, jack up your car, cut off the catalytic converter and be gone in less than 2 minutes.
Don't ask me how I know...

OK, I'll tell you. My neighborhood had a mock earthquake drill a couple of weeks ago and the Sheriff showed up and said this.
And that they've never caught anyone in the act.

I'm trying to figure out where they'd cut That's the tricky part in the Gen 3 I'll have to go to LKQ and look at some piles of Prius cats
