Where is the ECM located and can a layman get to it?

You need to post in one of the Gen 3 forums.

 

Those aren't the trouble codes. They look like maybe the CAN addresses of the computers reporting the codes.

Trouble codes all look like abccc, where a is a letter P, C, B, or U, b is a 0, 1, 2 or 3, and each c is any digit or a letter A through F.

 

You have 5 ECUs in your car. Which one are you looking for?
Engine
Hybrid System
HV Battery
ABS/Power Steering
Airbags

 

Although the Gen 1 Multiplex Communication System diagram does show around nine ECUs depending on how you count, only one of those ECUs is called the ECM (engine control module). That one is easily accessed behind the glove box in a Gen 1 (for countries that drive on the right-hand side of the road, anyway), adjacent to the steering ECU.
