I have been looking to purchase a second Prius I2010 or newer) and have seen a couple of listings in which there is no MFD (just a blank plate). Was the base model without this display? Thanks.

there should be a small display, but no 6" display on some packages.

Ours is like the top pic, Canadian Touring model. I believe commencing in 2012 they all have the screen?

I thought upon initial release with the first Gen 2010's you had to upgrade to packages that contained Navigation to get the MFD. The base models are all like the 1st picture. No MFD.

As was my U.S. version 2010-II, which lacked Navigation.
Yes, according to my 2012 brochure.

I guess starting in 2012 you get a screen of some kind in every trim. They added the 6.1 inch as an option. Prior to 2012, it was only the 7 inch, or the plain radio. 2012+, you mostly get the 6.1 inch, or the 7 inch in the advanced tech or deluxe solar packages.

I had seen both of your examples, and a third that was a blank plate. Whoever purchased it originally must have not liked the OEM radio. .
