2010 Prius. I would like to drill/ cut a hole in the center console so I can plug a USB cable into the aux port, then route it underneath the box and out to the passenger side... so I can route it up the seat to the headrest.
My concerns are where to drill the hole and are there wires in the way? Is it hard to remove the console or does it require removing the rest of the front as well?

If you have a local wrecking yard where you can pull your own parts and they have a car the same as yours, you can practice taking it apart without worrying about ruining your car... But in general removing as much of the console as possible before you drill will give you the assurance you need to know you won't be drilling through any wires or anything.
