Where would one look in USA for Gen2 European bladderless gas tank?

    I see many people mentioning that the European models didn’t have bladders. Any one know of a USA source for one?

    black market/dark web? it would be illegal. plus, it won't work with prius computers

    there's even a thread here if you can find it. guy tried to put a corolla tank on iirc. a lot of work that ended in failure

    Exactly, maybe better for Another to do a basic search of those past threads. Can't imagine why he would want to know, he doesn't have the mechanical ability to attempt a swap. Nor paying someone to do the swap, probably at least $1500 plus the cost of the parts.

    From past threads, it appeared that the JDM Gen2 tank not only was bladderless, but also 15.9 gallons, and supposedly fit into the same space as the bladdered North America 11.9 gallon tank. That larger capacity is part of the reason Japanese hypermilers produced crazy-high single tank distance records.

    Not for people registered in jurisdictions with emissions tests or inspections.
