Cliff's notes anyone? I'm interested but not 15 minutes interested.

My money is on the Volt. (even though I need to sell a Gen 1 PiP soon)

C-max has quite a bit lower specs than even a first gen Volt both mpg and range wise.

    Storage wise a Prius wins

Pure EV mode my money is on Volt, Volt is also more comfortable on long trips albeit at lower economy than a PIP.

Dang it..this got me looking at PIPs. Even on CarMax you can get a 2012 Toyota PIP Advanced for around 13K. Surprising....

Is there any data on battery longevity with the PIPs? And/or the cost to replace the battery?

Frankly, the battery is always what stops me in my tracks while looking at these used plugins...

Mine would be much cheaper than $13k and it's been absolutely babied. Battery shows very little degradation. And even better I probably only live about an hour or two from you. I live in southeast SD.
