That’s a ridiculous & childish answer. If anything the engine oil fairy came by and tapped its magic wand three times on the crankcase and said taa-daa

No really the bike had sight glass so just look at level as your getting on it. It would be full untill 3500 miles then on the next ride it will go down a quart. Just wild really. No smoke but quart gone in less then 100 miles. And as I said i don't of any oil that goes through combustion without causing smoke in exhaust .

    Sure it will.
Despite what you think you saw, you did NOT suddenly lose a quart of oil in 100 miles and then magically have it be OK again.

When the valve seals or rings start losing their seal, a small amount of oil will go out the tail pipe without any noticeable smoke.
A mal-functioning PCV system can pump oil out too......through a drain hose but only while the engine is running.

A quart in 3500 miles is roughly 1oz per 109 miles. It would not even be enough to get a puff of smoke on overnight startup. I would not change a thing except maybe oil change interval to match consumption interval. Same brand of oil and filter that you currently use.

The type of oil loss you describe is physically impossible on a functioning engine. You can not be at full for 3500 miles and magically lose a quart in the next 100. It cannot be done.

Sorry Raphael, that didn't happen.......not more than once, that is.

Just waiting for the alien oil extraction process, NASA can really take some notes here.

I agree, this stuff is good. You can buy it online from Ryder Fleet Products (no link as I'm too fresh to post links yet). Do a search, spendy, but good.

Although I agree that 1 quart per 100 miles with no visible smoke is very unlikely in a normal-functioning engine, I hesitate to say to say “impossible” as I have owned old vehicles that exhibited very odd and inconsistent behavior. If an external seal in the pressurized part of the oil supply system is leaking intermittently due to the presence or absence of grit blocking the leak point, you could get inconsistent leakage while driving. Still, if the oil is not being consumed during the combustion process, I would expect drips, dirty external sludge under the engine, or driveway stains from that leaking quart of oil. Tis a puzzlement.

The implication WAS that simply changing the oil stopped the excess usage again.......until it exceeded the "magic" number of miles with the new load of oil.

    Troll bait.
