Why can't I get into EV Mode?

    Pretty weird i was using my coastal tech ev mod than stopped working had plenty of battery i live in oc so dont think temp an issue. I can hear the noise it does when it kicks you out. Help.

    EV mode is also unavailable if the battery temperatures are too hot. EV mode is out for me just about every afternoon in summer.
