Why do Texans want the space shuttle?

    Wow, some raw meat there huh. There is a good space museum near mission control in the Johnson space center. A shuttle would be a nice addition. I'm not sure how there would have been any shuttle missions without mission control.

    I'm not quite sure where evolution is a religion and needed beliefs to support it, but it is taught as science in Texas schools. You may want to look to the Kansas school board or the Seattle discovery institute if you want groups that object to the science.

    Maybe people are still angry at Johnson for establishing Mission Control in Texas. There was no good reason for doing that, other than political pork.
